Homework starts this week! I will be sending weekly homework home with your child every Monday. They have the whole week to complete the assingment and return it back to school on friday.
Math: This week in math we will be learning to round to the tens place and hundreds place, we will also be learning how to round to these places in 3 and 4 digit numbers.
At home: have your child try to round different numbers when you go to the grocery store or to a restaurant, we will be learning how to round to our friendly numbers(10,20,30,40......) so we can add things up quicker!
***Also practice their 2 and 3 digit addition and subtraction!
Science: We will be learning about magnetism, we will be exploring different objects and leanring about which ones have the property of magnetism and which ones do not!
We are also exploring temperature and recording it each day!
At home: have your child explore different things around the house that they think might by magnetic and see what they can discover.
